This woodburning is on a 24 inch live edge ambrosia maple slab. The piece is finished with Danish oil, and adorned with amethyst accents. I hand configured chains to hang a small amethyst above, and a larger, wire-wrapped amethyst below the artwork.
I created this woodburning in a time of extreme life transition, and my goal was to show the connection between life forms, and the transition from life to decay, and the beauty in all of those stages.
