ABOUT ME
MY STORYI’m Jordyn Bury.
Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, I spent most of my childhood playing outdoors, exploring the creeks and forests around me. This grew into a fascination with nature lasting into adulthood, fueling my creative journey.
I learned the most about art through my tattoo career, which began with my apprenticeship in December 2022. Tattooing has given me the ability to build a career I love, and fully learn to express my inner thoughts through visual arts. When I’m not working on tattoos, I love exploring creation through other forms. I particularly enjoy woodburning, and have recently been exploring tattooing on leather items. I believe the purpose of woodburning is to bring more beauty into the natural wood grain, creating a piece that compliments the natural patterns of the wood, rather than hides it.
